About Us

By Nirjari - formerly known as Kitsch by Nik.

An accessories’ brand that commenced in May 2014. A brand that always believes in making something out of the box.

In May 2014, we started with toe anklets which became quite a hit product in a very short time & since then we have never looked back. As the brand grew; we started understanding the value of reviving old/abraded art by up-cycling them. Using left over/waste materials such as fabrics, metals, wooden blocks; we started up-cycling accessories that were purely handcrafted using all things waste/left over. Not just the art but we also work with artisans who are skilled in the handcraft that needs more & more appreciation & visibility.

We have been quite known for designing beautiful accessories that depict slow/conscious fashion. It’s a little step from our side towards less to zero waste movement. To name a few, “Mudra collection” was a part of two fashion weeks (Lakme & New York Fashion weeks). We are apparently the first brand that designed jewellery from abraded block printing wood blocks. Our Textile “Hair strings” are a great alternative to permanent dreadlocks. (Apparently, we are the first one to launch textile dreadlocks in the world). And the newly launched Confluence collection is a mix of textile & hand hammered brass.

Our brand has been recognised at many places. The list includes:

BBC Asian Radio, metaforbusiness, Femina Ahmedabad, Times of India, Ahmedabad Mirror, DNA newspaper, Zeezest.com, The Local Nation & many more.

We have been a part of Lakme Fashion Week & New York Fashion Week in 2018.

Our jewelry has been worn by Ratna Pathak in a Netflix original The Selection Day.

This is little bit about us!

With that, we welcome to our little world of up-cycled accessories By Nirjari.

We promise to bring to you everything unique.

While wearing By Nirjari; you are wearing art.
